If you have a soft spot for coffee, regard ice cream as one of the greatest creations ever and even better combining them with a touch of booze you think would make this world a better place, then folks, you have come to the right place. When milkshake unquestionably becomes the next big thing to ice cream, then I couldn’t agree more that you sure know how to have a good time.
Welcome to my feature presentation: my all grown-up boozy milkshake: thick, smooth and rich. Miniscule compared to the real thing, but nevertheless just as good, if not even better. This recipe yields only 8 ounces per serving and it is all that you may need, one at a time. Go shake the guilt off, slowly revel in the combination of coffee, chocolate and booze. At the end of the day, who says we can’t have milkshakes?
4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup milk (I used almond milk)
1 oz irish cream
1 oz coffee liqueur
1 Tbsp dark chocolate
This recipe makes 2 8-oz glasses. Put the glasses in the freezer to chill for a few minutes. In a blender, gather all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into the chilled glass right away. Add some whipped cream and chocolate shavings (if you think you deserve it). Enjoy!

- 1 oz coffee liqueur
